Sarah Clary

Stylist

Sarah Clary is a New York-based stylist and creative director who has been working in fashion for more years than she can count. She is a close and longtime collaborator of Jenna Lyons. Early in her career, she was integral in creating the iconic look and feel of mid-aughts J.Crew. Her impressive body of work is defined by her knack for making the classics feel cool. Sarah has styled campaigns for legendary heritage brands like Gap, Levis, and Burberry, and has consulted with many of your favorite upstarts on everything from launch strategy to social media. She shares her style-related musings on her Substack, Laundry Day.

For Sarah, getting dressed is about confidence and community. She has a soft spot for supporting female-run companies and helping people feel good in their clothes. Sarah’s personal style is classic and unexpected. She lives in jeans, t-shirts, and blazers and she loves an offbeat accessory. Her dream styling client is her 7 year old daughter, June, who currently has an affinity for all things flammable. Sarah loves flats and heels with equal passion and never leaves the house without hand lotion and lip balm.
